The Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs (ADP) is pleased to release the Drug Court Partnership (DCP) Evaluation Report pursuant to the DCP Act of 1998 (Chapter 1007, Statutes of 1998). ADP conducted this evaluation in collaboration with Administrative Office of Courts (AOC), and with the assistance of Joseph Guydish, Ph.D., and Barbara Tajima, Department of Medicine, Institute for Health Policy Studies, University of California San Francisco. The evaluation could not be completed without the tremendous efforts of the participating counties in the data collection process and their willingness to help ADP and AOC demonstrate the effectiveness of drug courts in California.
