- Alcohol Use During Pregnancy - Alcohol use during pregnancy can cause permanent harm to the fetus. The Department of Health Services' Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health Branch conducts an annual assessment of alcohol use by pregnant women. This link will take you to the most recent findings.

- Perinatal Environmental Scan - The California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs, Office of Women’s and Perinatal Services (formerly Office of Perinatal Substance Abuse) asked Children and Family Futures, Inc. to conduct a Perinatal Environmental Scan to determine the status of perinatal services for women with substance use disorders; assess current trends; and formulate recommendations for prioritization and planning.
