Local Treatment Assessment Contacts
ACLA 01-12 exists to assist lead agencies with cross-jurisdictional handling of persons whose probation is supervised outside their county of residence. In follow up to that ACLA letter and as a convenience to county staff, this Local Treatment Assessment Contacts web page was developed and announced to the field via ACLA 01-21. Subsequently added was ACLA 01-23, which expanded the scope of the cross-jurisdictional guidance to provide guidance on “Referrals to Programs Located Outside of California.”
Prop. 36 offenders on probation: Most SACPA offenders are referred to treatment as a condition of probation. The information posted on this page for general county contacts is primarily of value to persons working with probationers. County data is collected through periodic updates submitted directly by each county for immediate posting.
Prop. 36 offenders on parole: Parolees presenting for assessment or drug treatment are normally identified as parolees. Nevertheless, there are occasionally circumstances in which program staff may need to verify the status of a particular individual. In such cases, the local State Parole unit office can provide confirmation and assistance. Each of the 58 counties in the State is assigned to one of four Parole Regions. A separate contact list is provided to present information for parole units in each of those four Parole Regions.
