Description of Technical Assistance/Training Services or Materials
ONTRACK Program Resources provides TA and training for organizations serving African Americans throughout California. Technical assistance services include individual consulting, group or staff training, product development and research. ONTRACK provides customized technical support to meet the special needs of organizations seeking to improve or target alcohol and other drugs (AOD) services for African Americans. Typical areas of service focus include: program development, organizational management, strategic planning, resource development, cultural competency, marketing, and recruiting. The African American TA project serves AOD prevention, treatment and recovery organizations.

Populations or Groups Served — Community-based organizations, local and county government agencies and programs, churches and neighborhood groups.

Eligibility Criteria — Organizations providing alcohol and other drug services in prevention, treatment or recovery targeted to African Americans.

Time Limit on Availability of Services — Contract with ADP expires on June 30, 2008.
