The California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs (ADP) earlier this year selected Elinore F. McCance-Katz, M.D., Ph.D., as the State Medical Director. Dr. McCance-Katz is a physician and a professor of psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco, with 19 years experience in the treatment of substance use disorders.

Periodically we will send information to the field that is provided by the State Medical Director. For our first effort, we are providing a quick reference schedule of immunizations for infants, children and adults. The cards were developed by the Centers for Disease Control and are for your use to educate clients, who may have neglected the health care needs of themselves and their families, about vital immunizations. I hope you will keep the card in a central location for quick reference. A limited supply of additional cards are available and can be ordered by contacting the Department’s Resource Center at 800-879-2772 or you can download them from this web page.
