Prevention Activities Data System (PADS)
The Prevention Activities Data System (PADS) was implemented by the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Program (ADP) on January 1, 1998, to collect primary prevention service/activity data funded with ADP dollars. PADS was retired at the conclusion of Fiscal Year (FY) 05/06 and is no longer used to collect ADP funded primary prevention service/activity data.
PADS was replaced by the new California Outcomes Measurement Service for Prevention (CalOMS Prevention) which went live in July 2006. All ADP funded counties/providers are required to use CalOMS Prevention in FY 2006/2007 for the submission of primary prevention service/activity data.
Although PADS is no longer used to submit prevention data, the PADS reports for FY 2000/01 through 2005/06 are available by contacting the CalOMS Prevention Help Desk at email@example.com or 916-552-8933.
