What's Your ANTIDRUG?

There are better things to do than drugs and alcohol.

Here's a list of what other teens are doing:


Art

Do you enjoy painting, drawing, crafting? You can use your creativity as your anti drug. Art is one of the best ways to relive stress, anxiety, and other issues that can arise in your life. Art can also make you money! Create and sell your work. You never know who will like what you produce. Not into selling your work? Submit your work in art festivals, and see if they will be awarded. Create pieces for your family and friends; they will definitely appreciate your work no matter how it looks. There are so many options out there that can help you get your work seen.

Sports

Sports are a great way to stay fit and healthy. There are numerous sports out there for you to learn and get involved in. Donít have an interest in basketball? Try playing football or hockey.

Music

Are you one of those people who taps their feet every time you hear a beat? Music as an anti drug could be perfect for you! Music can be used as a great tool to relax the mind and energize the body. Do you like playing the guitar? Playing the piano? You donít have to just listen to music, you can also play an instrument!

Shopping

Shopping is a great way to get your spirits back up; now we arenít saying to go spend (all) your money. But shopping can give you a great way to relax and splurge on yourself for once and a while. Think of it as a way to reward yourself from time to time. You also donít have to buy items just for yourself; shop for others, give a gift to people less fortunate than yourself. That will not only help someone out, but it will also make you feel good about yourself.

Exercise

Exercising can be a great anti drug for yourself. You will stay healthy and energized; ready for the new day, everyday. Exercising is one the most important things we must do, yet many of us donít take out enough time out of our day or (have enough time), to exercise on a daily basis. Donít like sports? Itís ok! You can exercise by stretching, running, and completing physical tasks around the house. All of these things can be considered exercise, and it can be one of the best anti drugs one could have.
