Video P.S.A. Contest

Information for You

Drug-Free World is a great resource for teens, parents, and teachers to acquire drug information. It features interactive informational publications, videos, free DVDs, and other great resources. Informational materials on: Ecstasy, Crystal Meth, Marijuana, Crack, Cocaine, Kiddie Coke, Painkillers, Heroin, and LSD.

Friday Night Live (FNL)

The California Friday Live program offers a great opportunity for young people to get involved in their school and community. FNL programs focus on youth/adult partnerships. They provide opportunities so young people will be more likely to achieve in school, attend higher education, and get a job. Some examples of activities that FNL chapters facilitate and participate in are:

  • Safe alcohol and drug-free social outlets/activities
  • Youth/adult leadership activities
  • Providing community leaders with an “inside” view on youth AOD use/abuse issues
  • Learning opportunities
  • Developing media campaigns
  • Youth advocacy in development of local/state policies and regulations

The Friday Night Live Program includes components for young people in high-school (Friday Night Live-FNL), middle school (Club Live-CL), and fourth through sixth grades (Friday Night Live Kids-FNLK).
